The performance data of the six litre V12 Bi-Turbo is impressive. The high-performance aggregate with a motor management optimisation patented by Carlsson renders 753 hp (554 kW) and allows fast acceleration as well as smooth travels at lower speeds. Also responsible for the perfect performance evolvement is the elaborately developed stainless steel exhaust system with ends in four edgy pipes at the back. The power catapults the C25 with a torque of 1320 Newton metres at 3750 r.p.m. which is electronically limited to 1,150 Newton metres from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 352 km/h.

The Carlsson C25 Super-GT Concept also comes with an ultra-light and forged wheels 1/10 UL in the dimensions 9,5×20 and 12×20 inches have been especially designed for the C25 and are equipped with high performance tyres measuring 265/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear live axle.

Citroen Numero 9



Numero 9 is the new concept car designed in the Citroen workshop. It will be presented at the Beijing Motor Show on the 24th of April. With its elegance, safety and functionality, this car marks a new direction in design when it comes to this French company.
This particular model is made with elements of a coupe and an estate. Passengers will have extra comfort on backseat, which is, for example, very important for the Chinese market. The car is 4.93m long, 1.94m wide, it’s height is only 1.27m, while the wheelbase is exactly 3m. Particular attention was paid to the aerodynamic efficiency (CdA = 0.61) and because of that, there are special features: a rear spoiler that reinforces the fastback effect, windscreen pillars which enhance efficiency of air flow around the car and ‘Turbine’ wheels with integrated fins to increase the air flow around the wheel arches. The frontal profile  is specifically striking, with a dominant grille framed in chrome and LED headlamps.
Depending on the market, there are versions with combined conventional petrol or diesel engine with an electric motor. At the Beijing auto show, the model with a  hybrid engine, that consists of 1.6 THP petrol engine developing 225hp (165kW) and 275Nm of torque, will be presented. Citroen says that electric motor is powered by lithium-ion batteries that can be fully charged in 3½  hours from a standard household socket.
This concept is announcing next three DS line models: a C-segment premium sedan, an SUV and a D-segment executive saloon.

Toyota is the undoubtedly biggest car-maker in the world, and there is a reason for this leadership: innovation. The Japanese colossus always tried to combine technology with affordability and always got it right. The first milestone on this path was the Prius:  they made an incredibly weird-looking car become the first and bestselling mass-produced hybrid vehicle.  At Geneva 2012, Toyota showed off its new creation: the FT-Bh Concept. The car, if ever produced, would revolutionize the market. This time they didn’t invent anything: Toyota just took the simple idea of the Yaris city car and improved it, making it unbelievably efficient in terms of emissions and performances.
The most fascinating side of this new concept is the way Toyota mixed the design with the weight saving and emission reduction. We thought LED headlamps and matte paint were just cool and pricey optionals, but with the FT-Bh we now know they can be more. The LED technology reduces the power consumption by half and the matte paint is used for its heat insulation characteristics. Key panels, such as the roof, are formed to represent the way fabric can be stretched taut between fastening points to reflect their ultra-light weight. Toyota used a combination of high-tensile steel, aluminum and magnesium that trimmed the mass: it means there is less load applied on the body structure and suspensions, allowing components to be downsized. The car’s light weight makes it agile and responsive to throttle and brakes. The 1.0 liters petrol engine of the FT-Bh takes down CO2 emissions to an impressive 134.5 mpg and 49 g/km, a new benchmark for full hybrid vehicle.
Longer than a Yaris, but 25 percent lighter, highly aerodynamic, with impressive results in terms of emissions and consumption savings: the FT-Bh is going to be the new Prius and perhaps even more.
